create a stop motion animation film and independently discussing movement in

Strategies and Activities: 1. View/discuss a successful dialogue in a
Claymation film. 2. Demonstrate
how to add dialogue to your Claymation film using the Stop Motion app on the
iPads. 3. Pass out materials, and have groups work in
the hallway and in the art room to prevent background noise during the voice
recordings. 4. Assist students while they work. 5. Clean
up with 7 minutes left. |
Materials and Supplies: 1. SMARTboard 2. Claymation film from Vimeo or YouTube 3. Ipads (1 for each group) |
Accommodations and modifications for
different levels of learners: Students
with fine motor skill difficulties will be able to use larger or smaller
tools for drawing. When available,
these students will also be provided with pencil adaptors. Visual,
verbal, and hands on teaching techniques will be utilized to accommodate all
types of learners. |
Technology Integration The
smartboard will be used to view/discuss a successful dialogue in a Claymation film and iPads will be used to film and record
voices. |
Assessment: This
project will be assessed in 3 categories:
I can discuss movement, I can collaborate with others, and I can
compose a stop motion animation film. |
